On the morning of April 15, the unveiling ceremony of "Chaoshan History and Culture Transmission Base" was performed in Xidi Park in Shantou; in addition, the event of "Xidi Park Culture Lecture Hall" was also arranged. In "Xidi Park Culture Lecture Hall", there will be two lectures every month, including columns and events such as the lectures given by knowledgeable cultural experts,  the oral accounts of history made by the citizens, the camp for experiencing intangible cultural heritage, and the traditional folk culture festival, for the purpose of fostering a Teochewese ethos, exchanging public culture, enriching people＇s lives and promoting the city＇s grade.

In the 1st "Xidi Park Culture Lecture Hall", Zhang Meisheng, adviser of Shantou Museum of Overseas Chinese Remittance Archives and senior expert in overseas Chinese remittance, gave a lecture.  He told the stories related to overseas Chinese remittances with vivid examples, and had lively exchanges and  interaction with the audience.

　　4月15日上午，“潮汕历史文化传播基地”授牌仪式在我市西堤公园举行，同时举行“西堤公园文化讲堂”活动。该活动为每月两讲，开设有文化名家开讲、市民口述历史、非遗体验营、传统民俗文化节等栏目及活动，旨在弘扬潮人精神、交流公共文化、丰富市民生活、提升城市品位。
　　首届文化讲堂由市侨批文物馆顾问、资深侨批专家张美生主讲。他运用生动实例讲述侨批故事，并与听众进行了妙趣横生的交流互动。
