On the morning of July 19, the Shantou Municipal People's Government and Shanghai Maritime University held a signing ceremony for the Framework Agreement for Strategic Cooperation and an unveiling ceremony for both Eastern Guangdong Branch of Institute of Studies for the Great Bay Area (Guangdong, Hong-Kong, Macau) and Training Base of Graduate School of Shanghai Maritime University in Bay Area.
  
According to the agreement, the two sides will cooperate in decision-making consultation, policy research and talent training. In the cooperation, Shantou will give full play to its advantages in government information resources and shipping logistics, while Shanghai Maritime University will give full play to its advantages in human resources, scientific research, shipping logistics, free trade area and other industry think tanks and decision-making consultation, so as to strengthen exchange and communication and deepen bilateral cooperation.

汕头市政府与上海海事大学签订战略合作框架协议

7月19日上午，汕头市人民政府与上海海事大学举行战略合作框架协议签订仪式暨“粤港澳大湾区供应链研究院粤东分院”、“上海海事大学湾区研究生院培训基地”揭牌仪式。

根据协议，双方将在决策咨询、政策研究、人才培养等方面开展合作，发挥汕头市在政府信息资源、航运物流等方面的优势，以及上海海事大学在人力资源、科学研究、航运物流、自由贸易区等行业智库和决策咨询方面的优势，加强交流沟通，深化双方合作。
