On the morning of July 29, the 13th Asian Science Camp, sponsored by China Education Association for International Exchange and organized by Shantou University and Guangdong Technion Israel Institute of Technology, opened at Guangdong Technion Israel Institute of Technology. Young talents from different countries and regions gathered, starting a week-long journey of exploring science.
  
This Asian Science Camp was held for the first time in mainland China in the past 13 years since its launch. During this period, 39 team leaders from 28 countries and regions as well as 251 high school students and college students with outstanding performance in physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology gathered at Guangdong Technion Israel Institute of Technology and Shantou University. The young talents conducted in-depth dialogue face to face with 16 world-class scientists in natural science, including 4 Nobel laureates, and at the same time, through front-line lectures, parallel forums, group discussions, poster competitions, short trips, cultural expeditions and non-heritage experiences, they further promoted interaction and communication, perceived the charm of science, and fostered the vision to work together to create the future.

第十三届亚洲科学夏令营在汕开幕

由中国教育国际交流协会主办，汕头大学、广东以色列理工学院承办的第十三届亚洲科学夏令营7月29日上午在广东以色列理工学院开幕。来自不同国家和地区的青年英才集结一堂，开启为期一周的科学之旅。

本届亚洲科学夏令营是该活动发起13年来首次在中国大陆举办。期间，来自28个国家和地区的39名领队以及251名在物理、化学、数学和生物方面有杰出表现的高中生和大学生将齐聚广东以色列理工学院和汕头大学，与包括4位诺贝尔奖获得者在内的16位自然科学领域杰出的世界级科学家面对面开展深度对话，并通过前沿讲座、平行论坛、小组讨论、海报竞赛以及短途旅行、文化考察、非遗体验等多种形式，增进互动交流，感知科学魅力，携手共创未来。
