Sponsored by the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government and the Guangdong Teochew Opera Development and Reform Foundation, the "2019 Shantou Teochew Opera Art Week" will be held in Shantou from October 27 to October 31. This is another grand event of Teochew Opera held by the city after the Fourth Teochew Opera Festival in 2012. 38 Teochew Opera groups with nearly 2000 cast members, which are from Australia, Canada, France, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and other countries as well as Hong Kong, Foshan, Huizhou and other places, will come to Shantou to participate in the show.
   
From October 28 to 31, each troupe will present wonderful performances to the public respectively in Chaoshan Gymnasium, Yidu Grand Theater, Huiru Theater, Mazu Palace Stage, Longhu Hanyuan, Haojiang Theater, Chenghai Citizen Concert Hall, Shantou Polytechnic's Auditorium and Shantou Culture and Art School's Yilin Theater. Focusing on culture benefiting people, the performance of the festival will benefit the public and opera fans in the form of free tickets to allow everyone to jointly enjoy the grand event of the Teochew Opera art.

2019汕头潮剧艺术周将在汕举行　  

由市委市政府、广东省潮剧发展与改革基金会主办的“2019汕头潮剧艺术周”将于10月27日至10月31日在汕举行。这是继2012年第四届潮剧节之后，我市举办的又一潮剧盛事。来自澳大利亚、加拿大、法国、柬埔寨、马来西亚、新加坡、泰国、越南等国家以及香港、佛山、惠州等地的38个潮剧团体将莅汕参演，演员阵容近2000人。  

10月28日至31日，各剧团将分别在潮汕体育馆、艺都大剧院、慧如剧场、老妈宫戏台、龙湖翰苑、濠江影剧院、澄海市民音乐厅、汕职院礼堂和汕头文化艺术学校艺林剧场为市民献上精彩演出。本次展演将突出文化惠民，以赠票的形式惠及市民、戏迷，共享潮剧艺术盛会。
