Shantou was awarded the Title of "National Forest City"
On the morning of November 15, the 2019 Symposium on Forest City Construction was held in Xinyang, Henan. The National Afforestation Committee and the National Forestry and Grassland Administration awarded the title of "National Forest City" to 28 cities including Shantou, Guangdong. As one of the first prefecture-level cities to successfully establish a national forest city in the East and Northwest Guangdong area, Shantou has added a gorgeous "Country Name" Card of Ecology.

汕头荣膺“国家森林城市”称号
11月15日上午，2019森林城市建设座谈会在河南信阳举行。全国绿化委员会、国家林业和草原局授予广东汕头等28个城市“国家森林城市”称号。作为我省粤东西北地区率先成功创建国家森林城市的地级市之一，汕头再添一张靓丽的“国字号”生态名片。
