At the Awarding Meeting for "National E-commerce Demonstration Cities, National Internet of Things Cloud Computing Pilot Demonstration and National Innovative Ability Construction" held by the National Development and Reform Committee on November 16, 21 cities including Shantou, Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin and Chongqing won the Title of "National E-commerce Demonstration Cities".

In order to guarantee the implementation of e-commerce demonstration city construction, Shantou will regard guiding and driving the input by the enterprises and society with government funds as the basic principles, to increase the investment effort for the e-commerce development, and support the e-commerce backbone enterprise cultivation, SMEs e-commerce application, e-commerce infrastructure construction in the key areas, e-commerce regulation research, and domestic and foreign market expansion, etc.

　　在11月16日国家发改委召开的“国家电子商务示范城市、国家物联网云计算试点示范、国家创新能力建设”授牌大会上，我市与北京、上海、天津、重庆等21个城市同获“国家电子商务示范城市”称号。
　　为保障电子商务示范城市创建工作的开展，我市将以政府资金引导带动企业和社会投入为基本原则，加大电子商务发展的投资力度，支持电子商务骨干企业培育、中小企业电子商务应用、重点领域电子商务基础设施建设、电子商务规制研究和拓展国内外市场等。
