On the morning of October 27, the “2016 Guangdong 21st Century Maritime Silk Road International Expo” held by the provincial CPC Committee and provincial government of Guangdong was opened ceremoniously in Dongguan. The Commerce Bureau of our city specially organized a venue for Chaozhou-Shantou culture, a venue of E-commerce in Shantou and a venue for business hunting of Baoao International Toy Center to demonstrate the achievements in cultural, economic and trade exchanges and business opportunities in aspects of Chaozhou-Shantou culture, IT of E-commerce and foreign trade platform, attracting the attention of numerous business people from countries and regions along the Maritime Silk Road.

This Expo featured one theme exhibition and six special exhibitions with 2,626 booths. 52 countries and regions in total signed for participation and over 25,000 purchasers made purchases on the spot.

　　10月27日上午，由省委、省政府举办的“2016广东21世纪海上丝绸之路国际博览会”在东莞市隆重开幕。我市商务局组织、特装了“潮汕文化馆”，汕头电商馆和宝奥国际玩具城商机馆，集中展示潮汕文化、电商信息技术、对外贸易平台等方面的文化经贸交流成果和发展商机，吸引了海上丝绸之路众多国家和地区客商的关注。
　　本届博览会按照1个主题展和6个专业展的模式办展，设展位数2626个，共有52个国家和地区报名参展，逾2.5万“买手”到场采购。
