On September 12-14, Shantou Delegation led by Zheng Jiange, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shantou Municipal Committee and Mayor, successively went to Kunming City in Yunnan Province and Chengdu City in Sichuan Province, made a field trip to investigate the urban comprehensive development projects operated by YMCI, and had discussions and exchanges on investment cooperation projects.

ZhengJiange said that Shantou and YMCI had good cooperation basis and conditions. He hoped that in the future both sides would further strengthen cooperation engagement, and build the investment cooperation project into an exhibition tourism complex with a high grade and a large scale. Xu Lei, Chairman and Party Secretary of YMCI, said that YMCI was confident of cooperation between the two sides, and that YMCI would establish a high-level team, accelerate engagement and negotiation,vigorously promote the planning and construction of the integrated industrial platform, and do whatever YMCI can for the future development of Shantou.

　　9月12日至14日，由市委副书记、市长郑剑戈率领的汕头市考察团一行先后前往云南省昆明市和四川省成都市，对云南城投集团建设运营的城市综合开发项目进行实地考察，并就投资合作项目进行座谈交流。
　　郑剑戈表示，汕头与云南城投集团具有良好的合作基础和条件，希望未来进一步加强合作对接，把投资合作项目打造成档次高、规模大的会展旅游综合体。云南城投集团董事长、党委书记许雷表示，云南城投集团对双方的合作充满信心，将成立高规格团队，加快对接洽谈，大力推动一体化产业平台的规划建设，为汕头未来发展添砖加瓦。
