On the afternoon of October 13, Chen Liangxian, Secretary of the CPC Shantou Municipal Committee, and Mayor Zheng Jiange met Chen Xiao, Executive Director and Vice President of Kinetic Group Ltd., and had in-depth exchanges on the preliminary planning and design of the Clean Energy Vehicle Project of Hybrid Kinetic Group Ltd. as well as the work arrangement at next stage and other matters.

In June this year, Shantou City and Hybrid Kinetic Group Ltd. signed the strategic cooperation framework agreement for jointly promoting the development of the automobile industry. According to the work arrangement of the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, the relevant municipal departments actively push forward the engagement and contact between Yihua Enterprise (Group) Co. Ltd. and Hybrid Kinetic Group Ltd., promote bilateral cooperation to set up a joint venture company as soon as possible, and manage and operate the company according to the marketization operation mode, so that the Clean Energy Vehicle Project of Hybrid Kinetic Group Ltd. can be completed and put into production as soon as possible. After preliminary consultation, the site of the whole vehicle project is selected in Haimen Town, Shantou City. The planning area of the Phase I of the Project is more than 133.3 hectares, with a total investment of over RMB 20 billion. The Project will be built into a manufacturing base with an annual output of 300,000 clean energy vehicles.

　　10月13日下午，市委书记陈良贤、市长郑剑戈与正道集团执行董事、副总裁陈晓一行座谈，就正道集团清洁能源汽车项目初步规划设计及下一阶段工作安排等事项进行深入交流。
　　今年6月，我市与正道集团签订共同推进汽车产业发展战略合作框架协议。根据市委、市政府工作部署，市有关部门积极推动宜华集团与正道集团对接联系，促进双方合作尽快成立合资公司，按照市场化运作模式进行管理和运营，争取正道清洁能源汽车项目早日建成投产。经初步协商，汽车整车项目选址于我市海门镇，一期规划面积2000多亩，总投资约人民币200多亿元，建成一个年产30万台的清洁能源整车生产基地。
