On the morning of November 23, the infrastructure and supervision facilities of ShantouBondedLogisticsCenter (type B) was accepted. The project acceptance this time covered an area of 127 mu (=8.47 hectares), a construction land area of 85,013 square meters, and a floor area of over 100,000 square meters. During the process of acceptance, the joint acceptance group conducted field investigation on infrastructure, isolation facilities, special channels, port facilities and supervision facilities of the LogisticsCenter. After comprehensive assessment, the acceptance group thought that the infrastructure and supervision facilities of Shantou Bonded Logistics Center (type B) metthe requirements ofthe acceptance standard, so they agreed the acceptance.

On November 25, 2015, the infrastructure and supervision facilities of ShantouBondedLogisticsCenter (type B) was established with the approval of General Administration of Customs, the Ministry of Finance, State Administration of Taxation, and State Administration of Foreign Exchange. In eastern Guangdong, it is the only special customs controlling zone which enjoys the “tax rebate upon entering the Center”. After it is completed and operated, it can realize the “tax rebate upon entering the Center”. Through the policy  combination of “bonded zone + bonded logistics center”, it will make up the deficiency of the function of the bonded zone, stimulate the port economy, promote the linkage between the zone and the port, further play  the radiating and leading role of the special customs controlling zone (place), build a new pattern of foreign trade development in Shantou and even in eastern Guangdong, and move faster to see the healthy and rapid development of free trade in eastern Guangdong.

　　11月23日上午，汕头保税物流中心(B型)正式通过基础设施和监管设施验收。此次项目验收面积127亩，建设用地面积85013平方米，建筑面积超过10万平方米。验收过程中，联合验收组对该物流中心的基础设施、隔离设施、专用通道与卡口设施、监管设施等进行了实地勘察。经综合评审，验收小组认为汕头保税物流中心(B型)基础设施和监管设施符合验收标准，同意通过验收。
　　汕头保税物流中心(B型)于2015年11月25日经海关总署、财政部、国家税务总局、国家外汇管理局四部委批准同意设立，是粤东地区唯一享有“入中心退税”的海关特殊监管场所。建成运营后，将可实现“入中心退税”，通过“保税区+保税物流中心”的政策叠加，弥补保税区功能上的不足，拉动港口经济，促进区港联动，进一步发挥海关特殊监管区域(场所)的辐射和带动作用，构建汕头乃至粤东地区的外贸发展新格局，加快推动粤东地区自由贸易健康快速发展。
