Toy Manufacturers in Chenghai Powered by Online Channels to Achieve Direct Collaboration with Global Merchants and Customers

March marks the peak season of domestic and foreign customers and merchants on procurement in Chenghai, Shantou.Affected by the coronavirus outbreak, it is impossiblefor domestic and foreign merchants tovisitChenghaiand to have a look at the samples on the spot, but they remain positive on their procurement demands. In order to meet their needs, Chenghai toy industry takes the initiative to develop and establish a "cloud exhibition hall" by breaking the "drawbacks" of the traditional procurement link, hence realizingsuccessful direct connection and collaboration among domestic and foreign merchants and customers, trading companies and toy manufacturers through online channels.
Under the guidance of relevant government authorities in Shantou, the "Xiaoniao ToyCloud" system took the lead in relocating more than 8,000 offline factories and more than 300,000 toy products to the online exhibition platform. Owing to the online system, trading companies are enabled to help customers find samples and provide product information they need, while domestic and foreign customers can also directly connect with Chenghai-based toy manufacturers through trading companies. Since February 10th, the system has launched 1.05 million toy products, with a move-in rate of more than a third of trading companies in Chenghai.

全球客户与澄海玩具厂家线上对接
3月份是国内外客商到我市澄海区采购的高峰期。受疫情影响,国内外客商虽然无法来澄海实地看样品,但其采购需求一直存在。澄海玩具产业打破传统贸易采购环节的线下“弊端”,开发“云展厅”,让国内外客户、贸易公司、玩具厂家成功线上对接。
在我市相关部门指导下,“霄鸟玩具云”系统率先把线下8000多家工厂、超过30万款玩具产品搬到了线上展厅。利用线上的系统,贸易公司可以帮客户找样品,提供客户所需要的产品资料,而国内外客户也可通过贸易公司跟澄海的玩具厂家进行对接。自2月10日以来,该系统已上线了105万款玩具产品,澄海超过三分之一的贸易公司入驻。
