Shantou Tilapia First Exported to Burkina Faso in Africa

Recently, 26 tons of tilapia processed by a quick-frozen product company of our city was exported to Burkina Faso, an African country. This is the first time that Shantou tilapia is exported to the country, and is also a miniature of the unremitting efforts of the East Guangdong enterprises to open up the African market this year.
The company's products were mainly exported to the United States, the European Union and other countries before, but, affected by the epidemic in other parts of the world, some overseas clients have decided to delay or even cancel their orders, which has a certain impact on the company's exports. Under this situation, the Longhu Customs affiliated to the Shantou Customs contacts the related enterprises actively, collect and sort out the laws, regulations, standards and requirements for culturing and exporting tilapia products, and guide the enterprises to develop new products and open up new markets.

汕头罗非鱼首次出口非洲布基纳法索
近日，我市某速冻品企业一批26吨的制作保藏罗非鱼出口非洲国家布基纳法索。这是汕头罗非鱼首次对该国出口，也是今年以来粤东企业不懈开拓非洲市场的一个缩影。
该企业产品之前主要出口美国、欧盟等国家，受国外疫情影响，一些海外客户提出延迟甚至取消订单，对公司的出口造成一定影响。汕头海关所属龙湖海关主动联系企业，搜集整理出口养殖罗非鱼产品的法律法规、标准、要求，引导企业开发新产品、开拓新市场。
