Shantou Customs District Has Aided Eastern Guangdong Enterprises in Reduction or Exemption of Tariffs by Nearly RMB 200 Million
Since the beginning of this year, Shantou Customs District has simplified the process of handling certificates of origin, stepped up publicity efforts to promote "no touch" handling, and strived to provide maximum tariff reduction and exemption for the export of enterprises in eastern Guangdong, thus to help enterprises resume work and production as well as reach target capacity. In the first half of the year, a total of 14,300 certificates of origin were issued, with value of RMB 4.364 billion. The reduction and exemption of tariffs from importing and exporting countries are estimated to be about RMB 198 million for enterprises.

汕头海关帮助粤东企业减免关税近2亿
今年以来，汕头海关简化原产地签证业务办事流程，加大宣传力度推广“无接触”办理，为粤东企业出口争取最大程度关税减免，助力企业复工复产达产。上半年，共签发原产地证书1.43万份，签证货值43.64亿元，预计可为企业减免进口国关税约1.98亿元。
