Digital Technology Industry Base in Shantou Overseas Chinese Pilot Zone Started to Operate

On February 18, the Digital Technology Industry Base in the Overseas Chinese Pilot Zone started to operate. This marks the addition of an important carrier has been set up in the zone for the development of modern industries.
The industrial base is located in the Xinjin area of the East Coastal New Town, with a total area of about 10,000 square meters. It provides a centralized office space for newly settled digital technology enterprises (such as live e-commerce, sharing economy, Internet innovation, movie and TV media and information technology) and supporting facilities through conditional rent-free methods. This contributes to integrated development of the digital technology industry in the pilot zone. At present, there have been 3 industry associations, including the Municipal E-commerce Association, and 31 enterprises, including Guangdong Zhenhe Industry, officially settling there.

汕头华侨试验区数字科技产业基地启动运营
2月18日，华侨试验区数字科技产业基地启动运营，标志着华侨试验区又增添一个培育现代产业发展的重要载体。
产业基地位于东海岸新城新津片区，总面积约1万平方米，通过有条件免租方式向新落户的直播电商、共享经济、互联网创新、影视传媒、信息技术等数字科技企业提供集中办公场所及配套设施，加快试验区的数字科技产业聚集发展。目前，已有市电商协会等3家行业协会和广东臻和实业等31家企业正式入驻。
