The Second-Quarter Concentrated Commencement Activity for Major Projects Held in Shantou

Our province held the second-quarter concentrated commencement activity for major projects on the morning of June 28, 2021. Our city set up a branch venue in the project site of Shenzhen Shantou Chamber of Commerce Science and Technology Park in the Overseas Chinese Economic and Cultural Cooperation Experimental Zone to participate in the provincial concentrated commencement activity. Later on, Shantou held the second-quarter concentrated commencement activity for major projects in 2021. A total of 30 major projects were started, with a total investment of about RMB 20.1 billion yuan.
The major projects started in the second quarter covered various fields such as municipal transportation, energy, water conservancy, education, environmental protection, manufacturing, industrial parks, etc.Among them, there were 9 infrastructure projects with a total investment of about RMB 5.5 billion yuan; 15 industrial projects with a total investment of about RMB 12.8 billion yuan; 6 projects to ensure people's livelihood with a total investment of about RMB 1.8 billion yuan. The implementation of these projects is of great significance for improving urban infrastructure, accelerating industrial development, and improving the wellbeing of the people.

汕头举行第二季度重大项目集中开工活动
6月28上午，我省举行2021年第二季度重大项目集中开工活动，我市在华侨试验区深圳市汕头商会科技园项目现场设分会场参加省集中开工活动。随后，我市举行2021年第二季度汕头市重大项目集中开工活动，共有30个重大项目集中开工，总投资约201亿元。
我市第二季度集中开工的重大项目涵盖市政交通、能源、水利、教育、环保、制造业、产业园区等各个领域。其中，基础设施项目9个，总投资约55亿元；产业项目15个，总投资约128亿元；民生保障6个，总投资约18亿元。这些项目的落地实施，对于完善城市基础设施、加快产业发展、提升民生福祉具有重要意义。
