In the First Half of the Year, the Total Value of Foreign Trade of Shantou Comprehensive Free Trade Zone Exceeds RMB 10 Billion for the First Time

Since its transformation and upgrading, on the basis of consolidating general trade, Shantou Comprehensive Free Trade Zone (hereinafter referred to as the "Zone") has given full play to the double policy advantages of comprehensive free trade zone and cross-border E-commerce comprehensive pilot zone, and taken various measures to vigorously develop cross-border E-commerce, market purchase and other new forms of foreign trade. In the first half of this year, the total value of foreign trade of the Zone is expected to achieve RMB 10.3 billion, exceeding RMB 10 billion for the first time, an increase of 304.9% year-on-year.
The construction of key projects in the Zone has also been stepped up and accelerated. At present, there are 20 projects under construction in the Zone, with a total investment of about RMB 3.036 billion; there are 21 planned projects, with a total investment of about RMB 2.618 billion. Five projects in the Zone are included into the provincial and municipal key projects in 2021, with a total investment of RMB 1.525 billion, and 54.3% of the annual investment plan has been completed in the first half of the year.

上半年汕头综保区外贸进出口首破“百亿大关”
汕头综保区自转型升级以来，在巩固一般贸易的基础上，充分发挥综合保税区和跨境电商综试区的政策叠加优势，多措并举大力发展跨境电商、市场采购等外贸新业态。今年上半年，该区预计实现外贸进出口额103亿元，首次突破“百亿大关”，同比增长304.9%。
汕头综保区各重点项目建设也加紧推进，跑出了“加速度”。目前该区在建项目20个，投资总额约30.36亿元；拟建项目21个，总投资额约26.18亿元。全区列入2021年省市重点项目共5个，投资总额15.25亿元，上半年已完成年度投资计划的54.3%。
