The Construction Project of Shantou Nan'ao National Coastal Fishing Port Economic Zone is Launched

On December 1, the publicity period for the pilot list of 15 fishing port economic zones supported by the subsidies from the central government in 2021 ended. The construction project of Shantou Nan'ao National Coastal Fishing Port Economic Zone was officially launched, which would receive a total of RMB 400 million of subsidies from the central and provincial governments.
Nan'ao National Coastal Fishing Port Economic Zone covers the entire Nan'ao County. It will be built into a modern fishery economic zone integrating with fishing boat sheltering supplies, fishing goods trading, cold chain logistics, leisure and tourism and urban construction, which is characterized by the integration of "port, industry and city" and "fishing, trade and tourism" with balanced regional industrial structure, high industrial level and obvious radiation effect, providing strong support for the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy. The project plans to invest a total of RMB 1.284 billion in the near future. The construction contents include Yun'ao Fishing Port Comprehensive Industrial Zone, Houjiang Fishing Port and Wuping Village Fishing Port Industrial Zone, and the scientific research training base for fishermen to transform their production and industries, as well as the improvement of the landscape and quality of fishing villages.

汕头南澳国家级沿海渔港经济区建设项目落地
12月1日，2021年中央财政补助资金支持建设的15个渔港经济区试点名单公示期结束，汕头南澳国家级沿海渔港经济区建设项目正式落地，将获中央和省级财政共4亿元资金支持。
南澳国家级沿海渔港经济区覆盖整个南澳县，将打造集渔船避风补给、渔货交易、冷链物流、休闲观光、城镇建设为一体，区域产业结构平衡、产业层次较高、辐射效应明显的“港产城”一体化、“渔贸游”融合发展的现代渔业经济区，为实施乡村振兴战略提供有力支撑。项目近期计划投入总资金12.84亿元，建设内容包括云澳渔港综合产业区、后江渔港及吴平寨渔港产业区、渔民转产转业科研培训基地、渔村风貌品质提升等。
