Shantou City Organizes Centralized Signing and Commencement of Some Major Projects

On December 28, Shantou City organized the event for the centralized signing and start of major projects in the fourth quarter of 2021 and the commencement of the Luxshare Global Electronic Information Industry Center Project.
The event involved 67 projects with a total investment of more than RMB 110 billion, including 14 centrally signed projects, 28 started projects and 25 projects put into operation, covering many fields such as new generation electronic information, new materials, biomedicine, traditional industrial upgrading, transportation, energy and new infrastructure.Among others, the Luxshare Global Electronic Information Industry Center Project involves a total investment of RMB 5 billion, with an investment orientation focusing on new generation information technology industry clusters. The products are mainly used in 5G communications, telemedicine, smart security, smart manufacturing, smart homes, driverless operations and other sectors, which will effectively promote the agglomeration development of upstream and downstream industries and enterprises. In addition, the Datang Nan'ao Lemen I Offshore Wind Power Project, Shantou's first offshore wind power project, has realized grid-connected power generation, which will help Shantou build an "international wind power innovation hub" and provide strong support for Shantou to vigorously develop new energy industry.

汕头市一批重大项目集中签约开工
12月28日，我市举行2021年第四季度重大项目集中签约开工投产暨立讯全球电子信息产业中心项目开工活动。
本次活动共涉及67个项目，总投资超1100亿元，包括集中签约项目14个、开工项目28个、投产项目25个，涵盖新一代电子信息、新材料、生物医药、传统产业升级和交通、能源、新型基础设施等多个领域。其中，立讯全球电子信息产业中心项目总投资50亿元，投资方向以新一代信息技术产业集群为主，产品主要应用于5G通信、远程医疗、智能安防、智能制造、智能家居、无人驾驶等领域，将有效带动电子信息上下游产业和企业集聚发展；全市首个海上风电项目——大唐南澳勒门I海上风电项目并网投产，将助力我市打造“国际风电创新港”，为汕头大力发展新能源产业提供强有力支撑。
