Eastern Guangdong Jiangnan International Agricultural Products Trading Center is Put into Trial Operation

On May 29, Eastern Guangdong Jiangnan International Agricultural Products Trading Center (hereinafter referred to as the “Trading Center”), a provincial key investment attraction project located on Daxue Road in Shantou, held a trial operation ceremony for the vegetable trading area.
The total investment of the Trading Center is about RMB 2 billion yuan, and the planned land area is 21.6 hectares. The project is supported by modern transaction, settlement, information, testing, storage, logistics and other technologies to build a one-stop purchase and distribution center for modern agricultural products. After the project is completed, it will provide about 10,000 direct jobs, and the average annual transaction volume is expected to exceed RMB 10 billion. The Trading Center is committed to developing itself into the largest agricultural product trading platform in eastern Guangdong and an important "vegetable basket" project base.

粤东江南国际农产品交易中心试运营
5月29日，位于我市大学路的省级招商引资重点项目——粤东江南国际农产品交易中心举行蔬菜交易区试业仪式。
交易中心总投资约20亿元，规划用地323.3亩。项目以现代化交易、结算、信息、检测、储藏、物流等技术为支撑，建成现代化农产品一站式采配中心。项目建成后，将提供直接就业岗位约1万个，年均交易额预计100亿元以上，致力于发展成为粤东地区最大农产品交易平台和重要的“菜篮子”工程基地。
