On the morning of June 9, a delegation led by Han Jae Heuk, Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Guangzhou visited Shantou and held discussions and exchanges with Shantou City on strengthening cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, industry, tourism, culture, and education, etc.
Mayor Zeng Fengbao extended his welcome and thank to the delegation led by Han Jae Heuk. He hoped that the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Guangzhou would, as always, care about and support Shantou, promote friendly interactions between Shantou and the Republic of Korea, deepen exchanges and cooperation, and achieve win-win development. Han Jae Heuk said that the exchanges between Shantou and the Republic of Korea are relatively close, and the two sides have a solid foundation for cooperation. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and the Republic of Korea. The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Guangzhou will continue to advocate the tradition of friendship, further promote comprehensive exchanges and cooperation between the two sides in the fields of economy, trade, tourism, education, and culture, and work together to write a new chapter in the cooperation between Shantou and the Republic of Korea.

6月9日上午，韩国驻广州总领事韩在爀一行莅汕访问，与我市就加强经贸、产业、旅游、文化、教育等领域合作进行座谈交流。
