Shantou's Total Import and Export Value Exceeds RMB 40 Billion in the First Half of 2022

In the first half of this year, Shantou's total import and export value reached RMB 40.79 billion, exceeding RMB 40 billion for the first time, a record high, a year-on-year increase of 7.6%, and 4.8 percentage points higher than Guangdong Province's growth rate over the same period. Among them, the total export value reached RMB 33.5 billion, a year-on-year increase of 8.8%; the total import value reached RMB 7.29 billion, a 2.2% increase higher than the same period.

上半年汕头进出口突破400亿元
今年上半年，我市进出口407.9亿元，首次突破400亿元，创历史新高，同比增长7.6%，高于全省同期增速4.8个百分点。其中出口335亿元，同比增长8.8%；进口72.9亿元，同比增长2.2%。
