New Progress is Made in the Construction of Jingzao Bridge of the Phase III Project of Chaozhou-Shantou Loop Expressway

On August 31, there were again good news on the construction of Jingzao Bridge of the Phase III Project of Chaozhou-Shantou Loop Expressway: the first concrete prefabricated box girder on the whole line was successfully erected, marking the victory of a new node in the project construction, and pressing the "acceleration key" for bridge structure construction on the whole line.
The Jingzao Bridge Project started from Xixiou Village, Guanbu Town, Chaoyang District, Shantou City, and ended at Jingnan Village, Jieyang City, with a total length of about 3.11 kilometers. There are two bridges along the whole line, including Jingzao Bridge and Jinzao Interchange (Hub), which span the Nanhe River of the Rongjiang River.Up to now, the pile foundation construction of Jinzao Interchange (Hub) has been fully completed, and the construction of 70% of the pier columns and more than 50% of the cover beams has been completed. The lower structure of the Interchange (Hub) is expected to be completed by the end of this year, and the prefabricated box girders are expected to be erected in August next year. The completion of the Project will effectively meet the transportation needs of hundreds of thousands of people on both sides of the Rongjiang River for exchanges and contacts, provide convenient channels for the transportation of agricultural products in towns, townships and other places along the route. It is of great significance in promoting the coordinated development of three cities including Shantou, Chaozhou and Jieyang and accelerating their integration into the economic circle of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

潮汕环线高速三期工程京灶大桥项目迎来新进展
8月31日，潮汕环线高速三期工程京灶大桥项目建设再传捷报：全线首片混凝土预制箱梁顺利完成架设，标志着项目建设拿下新节点，为全线桥梁结构施工按下“加速键”。
京灶大桥项目起于我市潮阳区关埠镇溪西欧村，止于揭阳市京南村，总长约3.11公里。全线共设桥梁2座，包括跨越榕江南河的京灶大桥和金灶（枢纽）互通立交。目前金灶枢纽互通桩基工程已全部完成，墩柱完成70%，盖梁施工过半，该互通枢纽下部结构力争今年年底完成，预制箱梁预计明年8月份完成架设。该项目的建成，将有效解决榕江两岸数十万群众交流往来的交通需求，为沿线乡镇等地农产品运输提供便捷通道，并对促进汕潮揭三市协调发展及加快融入粤港澳大湾区经济圈具有重要意义。
