Recently, Shantou Intellectual Property Protection Center (hereinafter referred to as the "Center") was approved as a national-level patent navigation service base, adding one more "national brand" for Shantou. Since its operation in December 2021, the Center has been promoting the patent navigation work in an orderly manner by centering on the industrial development pattern "promoting the industry for vitalizing and strengthening city development" and "three new, two specials, one big" ("three new" means new energy, new materials and new generation of electronic information industries; "two specials" mean two traditional industries with distinctive local features, namely, textile and clothing and creative toys; and "one big" means big health industry). Next, the Center will take the construction of a national-level patent navigation service base as an opportunity to actively meet the needs of innovators in accordance with the requirements of industry authorities, explore the establishment of a specialized, standardized and effective patent navigation service work system, and promote the application of patent navigation results. Meanwhile, the Center will give full play to the functional advantages of the national platform, take rapid pre-review, rapid rights protection, and navigation operation as the main priorities of work, and strive to get through the entire chain of intellectual property creation, application, protection, management and service, to help Shantou strengthen city development through intellectual property and build a national innovative city.

汕头市知识产权保护中心获批国家级专利导航服务基地
近日，汕头市知识产权保护中心获批国家级专利导航服务基地，再添“国字号”招牌。该中心自2021年12月运行以来，围绕汕头“工业立市、产业强市”和“三新两特一大”产业发展格局，有序推进专利导航工作。接下来，中心将以建设国家级专利导航服务基地为契机，主动对接产业主管部门及创新主体需求，探索构建特色化、规范化、实效化的专利导航服务工作体系，推动专利导航成果应用。同时，充分发挥国家级平台职能优势，以快速预审、快速维权、导航运营为工作主线，致力打通知识产权创造、运用、保护、管理、服务全链条，助力汕头推进知识产权强市建设和国家创新型城市建设。
