Shanghai Electric Wind Power 16+ MW Generator Comes off the Production Line in Shantou

On June 11, the Poseidon Platform 16+ MW Whole-sea-area High-capacity Wind Power Generator, which was independently developed by Shanghai Electric Wind Power Group (with independent intellectual property rights), was assembled and came off the production line at the Shantou Intelligent Manufacturing Base. This offshore wind power generator with the largest single-unit capacity and largest turbine diameter, which won the global bidding, also set a new wind turbine manufacturing record at the Shantou base.
The 16+ MW Generator came off the production line this time is a new-generation high-capacity semi-direct drive wind power generator. It can be developed on a platform basis, adapting to different basic forms, different water depths, and covering wind conditions throughout the sea. The single-unit capacity of the generator subsequently developed based on this platform can be expanded to 18 MW. The annual power generation capacity of a single-unit 16+ MW generator is 40% higher than the previous generation product, and the internal rate of return can be increased by 2%. The energy saving and emission reduction effect is remarkable. It is a high-reliability, high-yield, efficiently reducing carbon emissions, high-capacity generator with low investment throughout the sea.

上海电气风电16+兆瓦机组在汕下线
6月11日，上海电气风电集团自主开发、具有自主知识产权的海神平台16+兆瓦全海域大容量风电机组在汕头智能制造基地组装下线。这台全球已中标的最大单机容量、最大风轮直径的海上风电机组同时刷新汕头基地的风机制造纪录。
此次下线的16+兆瓦机组是新一代大容量半直驱机组，可实现平台化开发，适配不同基础形式、不同水深，覆盖全海域风况，后续基于该平台研发的机组单机容量可拓展到18兆瓦。16+兆瓦机组单台年发电量比上一代产品提升40%，内部收益率可提高2%，节能减排效果显著，是一款高可靠、高收益、高节碳、低投资的全海域大容量机组。
