The Business Trial of "Shantou Guang'ao - Shenzhen Shekou Combined Port" is Started

On the morning of June 16, the trial operation of the Model for Customs Clearance of "Shantou Guang'ao - Shenzhen Shekou Combined Port" was started. Since then, for foreign trade export goods from the Chaoshan region, what would only need to be done are to complete customs clearance procedures in the Guang'ao Port Area of Shantou Port; to deliver them to Shekou international liners via feeder vessels; and to quickly deliver them to the globe with the help of Shekou Port's rich network resources. Relying on the blockchain platform digitization and informatization, "Shantou Guang'ao - Shenzhen Shekou Combined Port" achieves information exchange, port area code sharing and mutual recognition of customs supervision between the Shantou Guang'ao Port Area and Shenzhen Shekou Port, forming an integrated operation of "two ports like one port". In the entire process, the goods only need "one declaration, one inspection, and one release", improving the efficiency of customs clearance, widening the channels for import and export of corporate goods, and reducing logistics costs.
According to incomplete statistics, about 300,000 TEUs of goods from Shantou City, Chaozhou City and Jieyang City in eastern Guangdong would be transported by trailers to Shenzhen for customs clearance every year. The launch of the Model for Customs Clearance of "Shantou Guang'ao - Shenzhen Shekou Combined Port" will further open up a new pattern of the customs clearance model in the Guang'ao Port Area, bring more enterprises back to the Guang'ao Port Area, and attract more Chaoshan goods to get through customs clearance procedures in the Guang'ao Port Area.

“深汕组合港”业务试行
6月16日上午，“汕头广澳—深圳蛇口组合港”通关模式启动试运行，今后潮汕地区的外贸出口货物只需在汕头港广澳港区完成海关通关手续，通过驳船接驳蛇口国际班轮，即可借助蛇口港丰富的网络资源，快速通达全球。深汕组合港依托区块链平台数字化和信息化，实现汕头广澳港区和深圳蛇口港之间信息互通、港区代码共享和海关监管互认，形成“两港如一港”的一体化操作，货物全程只需“一次申报，一次查验，一次放行”，提高了通关时效，也畅通了企业货物进出口通道，降低了物流成本。
据不完全统计，粤东地区汕头、潮州、揭阳三市每年大概有近30万标箱通过拖车运到深圳出关，组合港模式启动将进一步打开广澳港区通关模式新格局，带动更多企业回流广澳港区，吸引更多潮汕货走广澳港区。
