The Construction of Shantou International Textile City is to be Started

The development of Shantou's textiles and clothing industry will usher in an important node soon. On July 3, the construction of Shantou International Textile City will be officially started, creating a modern industrial park and industrial chain hub integrating with technology research and development, manufacturing, product exhibition & selling, and smart logistics.
As the coping-stone project of the "Four Major Projects" of textiles and clothing in Shantou, Shantou International Textile City will be built with a total planned investment of RMB 30.5 billion and planned land area of about 333 hectares. The project includes a 750,000-square-meter global textile sourcing center (supporting with high-rise hotels, office buildings/industrial talent apartments, etc.) and a 2.4-million-square-meter intelligent textile industrial park. In the future, relying on the unparalleled strength of "industry + market" and the comprehensive strengths of the industrial chain, Shantou will make every effort to build the textile industry cluster with the most complete textile industry chain, the best textile products, and the largest specialized market in China.

汕头国际纺织城将启动建设
汕头纺织服装产业发展近期将迎来重要节点。7月3日，汕头国际纺织城将正式启动建设，打造集技术研发、生产制造、产品展销、智慧物流为一体的现代产业园和产业链枢纽。
作为汕头市纺织服装“四大工程”压轴项目，汕头国际纺织城计划总投资305亿元，规划用地5000亩，项目包含建筑面积为75万平方米的全球纺织品采购中心（配套高层酒店及办公楼/产业人才公寓等）、240万平方米的智能化纺织工业园区。未来，依托“产业+市场”的独特优势以及产业链的综合优势，汕头将全力打造全国纺织产业链最完整、纺织产品最优、专业市场最大的纺织产业集群。
