On the afternoon of July 5, Shantou held a special "face-to-face" matchmaking meeting among enterprises, universities and research institutes in the food industry. The research teams from Jiangnan University and Shenzhen University were specially invited to exchange and connect with representatives of local food enterprises, for the purpose of boosting the high-quality development of the food industry in Shantou.
Jiangnan University has been making vigorous efforts to build itself into a world-class university and develop a world-class discipline in food science and engineering, and established several national-level research platforms. Shenzhen University has strong scientific research strength and important influence in the field of food science and engineering. At the matchmaking conference, the heads of the research teams of the two universities shared scientific research results and scientific research progress in their respective fields of expertise, full of significant takeaways. A signing ceremony was also held at the conference. The Shantou Branch Center of the National Technology Transfer Center of Jiangnan University, Jiangnan University, and Shantou Tianji Electric Appliance Industry Co., Ltd. will conduct in-depth research in the field of big health food to promote the application and commercialization of scientific and technological achievements.

汕头市举办产学研“面对面”食品工业专场对接会
7月5日下午，我市举办产学研“面对面”食品工业专场对接会，特邀江南大学和深圳大学科研团队与本地食品企业代表交流对接，助力我市食品工业高质量发展。
江南大学拥有食品科学与工程“双一流”学科，并建有多个国家级科研平台；深圳大学在食品科学与工程领域也有较强的科研实力和重要影响力。对接会上，两所高校的科研团队负责人现场分享各自专业领域的科研成果和科研进展，干货满满。会上还举行了签约仪式，江南大学国家技术转移中心汕头分中心与江南大学、汕头市天际电器事业有限公司将针对大健康食品领域进行深入研究，推动科技成果落地和转化。
