China (Shantou)-Indonesia Economic and Trade Cooperation and Exchange Conference is Held in Indonesia

On July 11, the China-Indonesia (Shantou) -Indonesia Economic and Trade Cooperation and Exchange Conference was successfully held in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Shantou Economic and Trade Delegation attended the event with the representatives of Indonesian overseas Chinese groups, business associations, and entrepreneurs. They conducted industry promotion and project signing on the spot. A total of 8 projects were successfully signed, with a total contract value of RMB 5.35 billion.
This event was hosted by the Shantou Municipal People's Government and co-organized by the China Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia, the Persatuan Teo Chew Indonesia, the Shantou Textiles and Clothing Industry Association, the Shantou Chenghai Toys Association, and the Shantou Wind Power Association, for the purpose of seizing the major opportunities of the Belt and Road Initiative and the effectiveness and implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), promoting the high-quality development of import and export trade and two-way investment between Shantou and Indonesia, and providing more business opportunities and broader cooperation space for enterprises in the two places.

中国（汕头）—印度尼西亚经贸合作交流会在印尼举办
7月11日，中国（汕头）—印度尼西亚经贸合作交流会在印尼雅加达成功举办。汕头经贸代表团与印尼侨团、商协会、企业家代表共同出席活动，现场开展产业推介和项目签约，共8个项目成功签约，总签约金额53.5亿元。
本次活动由汕头市人民政府主办，印尼中华总商会、印尼潮州总会、汕头市纺织服装协会、汕头市澄海区玩具协会、汕头市风能协会协办，旨在抓住“一带一路”建设和RCEP生效实施重大机遇，促进汕头与印尼进出口贸易和双向投资高质量发展，为两地企业提供更多商机和更广阔合作空间。
