On August 9, the first 220 kV traction substation of Shantou-Shanwei High-Speed Railway, which was constructed by China Railway Wuhan Electrification Engineering Group Co., Ltd., was successfully switched on in a single try, and it began to intake power. The devices at the Station were connected with electricity, and they operated normally, marking that the “heart” of the traction power supply system of Shantou-Shanwei High-Speed Railway was officially put into operation, and creating preconditions for contact screen power transmission and hot running in the next step.
As the “heart” of the traction power supply system of Shantou-Shanwei High-Speed Railway, the traction substation shoulders the heavy responsibility of providing a direct power source for the operation of high-speed trains. It is a key professional project to ensure the safe, high-speed, reliable and stable operation of high-speed rail trains.

汕汕铁路首座牵引变电所成功受电
8月9日，由中铁武汉电气化局承建的汕汕铁路首座220千伏牵引变电所一次合闸受电成功，所内设备带电运行正常，标志着汕汕铁路牵引供电系统的“心脏”正式投入运行，为下一步接触网送电热滑提供先决条件。
牵引变电所作为汕汕铁路牵引供电系统的“心脏”，承担着为高速列车运行提供直接动力来源的重任，是保证高铁列车安全、高速、可靠、稳定运行的关键专业性工程。
