Another Large Capacity Offshore Wind Turbine Completes Grid Connection Test in Shantou

On August 11, another large capacity 12 MW offshore wind turbine completed the grid-connected test at Guangdong Province Wind Power Coastal Test Base. It will soon be officially used for power generation at the Guangdong Offshore Wind Farm.
The wheel hub height of the turbine is 145 meters, and the stand-alone unit can generate 45 million kilowatts of electricity per year, which can meet the annual electricity needs of 23,000 households. The certification test conducted this time is an important means of ensuring that the wind turbine is safely connected to the large power grid. With the completion of testing of the large capacity wind turbine at the Base, it can be brought to the market more quickly to serve the achievement of China’s goals of carbon peak and carbon neutrality.

又一台大容量海上风电机组在汕头完成并网测试
8月11日，又一台大容量12兆瓦海上风电机组在广东省风电临海试验基地完成并网测试，即将在广东海上风场正式发电应用。
该机组轮毂高度145米，单机每年可产生4500万度电，能满足2.3万户家庭一年的用电需求。此次进行的认证测试，是保障风电机组安全接入大电网的重要手段。随着大容量风电机组在基地完成测试，可以更快投入市场，服务国家双碳目标的实现。
