Recently, six overseas Chinese groups (chambers of commerce) held the inaugurating ceremony at the Overseas Chinese Home in the Shantou Overseas Chinese Pilot Zone. Up to now, 31 overseas Chinese groups (chambers of commerce) have inaugurated at the Liaison Office of the Overseas Chinese Groups (Chambers of Commerce) in the Overseas Chinese Home.
The overseas Chinese groups (chambers of commerce) inaugurated this time included the Chao Shan General Association of New Zealand, the Guangdong Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines, the Chaoshan Association of Townsmen in Belgium, the Thailand Council for the Promotion of Peaceful Reunification of China, the Guangdong Chamber of Commerce in the United Arab Emirates, and the Chaoshan Youth Chamber of Commerce in Australia. At the event, the representatives of overseas Chinese leaders visited the Overseas Chinese Culture Exhibition Hall and learned more about the history of overseas Chinese, Chaoshan culture, and the highlights of the work of the Overseas Chinese Pilot Zone in serving overseas Chinese. At the symposium, the representatives of overseas Chinese leaders expressed their appreciation for the results achieved by Shantou City and the Overseas Chinese Pilot Zone in overseas Chinese affairs work. They hoped that policy support, publicity and promotion would be strengthened, to attract more overseas Chinese to return to their hometowns to invest and develop businesses. In particular, they would give full play to the role of overseas Chinese groups (chambers of commerce) as bridges and bonds, guide local overseas Chinese business people and overseas Chinese to visit Shantou for investigation and investment, and make positive contributions to the construction and development of their hometown.

6家海外侨团（商会）入驻汕头华侨试验区华侨之家
日前，6家海外侨团（商会）在汕头华侨试验区华侨之家举行入驻挂牌仪式。截至目前，在华侨之家海外侨团（商会）联络点挂牌入驻的侨团（商会）达到31家。
此次挂牌的海外侨团（商会）分别是新西兰潮属总会、菲律宾粤商会、比利时潮汕同乡会、泰国中国和平统一促进总会、阿联酋广东商会、澳大利亚潮汕青年商会。活动中，侨领代表们参观了侨文化展厅，深入了解华侨历史、潮汕文化和华侨试验区为侨服务工作亮点。座谈会上，侨领代表们对汕头市、华侨试验区在侨务工作上取得的成效表示赞赏，期待能加大政策支持和宣传推介，吸引更多海外华侨华人回乡投资兴业；他们也将充分发挥侨团（商会）桥梁纽带作用，引导当地侨商侨胞来汕考察投资，为家乡建设发展作出积极贡献。
