On the afternoon of September 23, Xie Guomin, Senior Chairman of Chia Tai Group, and his entourage visited Shantou and exchanged views with Shantou City on tapping the potential of overseas Chinese, reinforcing mutually beneficial cooperation and pursuing win-win development, and making steady progresses in advancing Chinese modernization in the specific practices of Shantou.
Wen Zhanbin, Secretary of the CPC Shantou Municipal Committee, warmly welcomed Mr. Xie Guomin and his entourage to return to their hometown for a study visit. He wished that Mr. Xie Guomin and Chia Tai Group would, as always, show concern for, give supports to and participate in the construction and development of their hometown, and encourage and guide more overseas Chinese to invest and develop businesses in Shantou. Xie Guomin said that Chia Tai Group would give full play to its advantages, seize the opportunities created by the new revolution in science, technology and industry, fully support Shantou in building a modernized industrial system, thoroughly investigate industrial projects, actively promote cooperations between Shantou and Thailand, and contribute to advancing Shantou's modernization and achieving a better and higher-level Shantou Special Economic Zone.
