On September 26, Shantou held the Signing and Commencement of the Major Projects in the Third Quarter of 2023 and the Haojiang District On-site Meeting for "Developing Shantou Based on Industry, and Boosting Shantou's Strength through Industry".
A total of 39 major projects were signed, started and put into operation at the event, with a total investment of about RMB 22.4 billion, covering various fields such as new generation electronic information, new materials, toy creativity, and textiles and clothing. These projects will effectively shore up weak links in Shantou's industrial chains, adjust and optimize the investments structure, and bolster the drivers for high-quality developments.

9月26日，2023年第三季度重大项目签约开工投产活动暨“工业立市、产业强市”濠江区现场会召开。
本次活动共签约开工投产重大项目39个、总投资224亿元，涵盖新一代电子信息、新材料、玩具创意、纺织服装等多个领域。这些项目将有力补齐我市产业链薄弱环节，调整优化投资结构，增强高质量发展动能。
