The First World Teochew Cuisine Conference Will be Held in Shantou in January 2024

The series of events of the 2024 World Teochew Cuisine Conference will be held at the Chaoshan Historical and Cultural Expo Center in Shantou from January 12 to 14 next year. This is also the first time that Shantou will host a world-class food exhibition.
The series of events will include the first China Shantou Catering Industry Expo, the International Teochew Cuisine Conference, the Teochew Cuisine Master Demonstration Contest, the Teochew Cuisine Precooked Dishes Contest, the “Food in Guangdong” Greater Bay Area Cuisine Carnival, and the launch ceremony of the World Teochew Cuisine Gold Diamond Award. At that time, food industry associations, leading catering companies, well-known food consultants, and experts and scholars from all over the world will see first-hand the beautiful scenery of Shantou and taste the` cuisine of Shantou.
On December 9, the organizing committee of the Conference launched the appraisal activities of the “World Teochew Cuisine Gold Diamond Award”. These activities will last from December 15 this year to January 10 next year. Through online special page displays, online voting, expert reviews and other ways, famous restaurants, famous chefs, famous banquets, famous dishes, and famous snacks will be selected for the diamond award; outstanding suppliers, service providers, and real estate developers will be selected for the gold diamond award. The winners will receive the awards and honors at the 2024 “Guangdong Regale” Exchange Gala on the evening of January 12 next year.

首届世界潮汕菜大会2024年1月在汕举行
2024世界潮汕菜大会系列活动将于明年1月12日至14日在汕头市潮汕历史文化博览中心举办，这也是我市首次举办世界级食品展会。
系列活动包括首届中国·汕头餐饮产业博览会、国际潮汕菜大会、潮汕菜烹饪大师表演赛、潮汕菜预制菜出品大赛、“食在广东”湾区美食嘉年华、世界潮汕菜金钻奖启动仪式等。届时，将有来自全球各地的美食行业协会、龙头餐饮企业、知名美食顾问及专家学者莅临汕头，实地感受、体验汕头美景美食。
12月9日，大会组委会启动了“世界潮汕菜金钻奖评选活动”。该活动将从12月15日持续至明年1月10日，通过线上专题页展示、线上投票、专家评审等形式，评选出钻石名店、名厨、名宴、名菜、名点，以及杰出供应商、服务商、地产商金钻奖等。获奖者将于明年1月12日晚在2024“广东盛宴”交流晚宴上进行表彰颁奖。
