The Maiden Voyage along Chaoshan’s First Direct Route for Importing Goods from South East Asia is Successfully Achieved

Recently, the "Changjin Manila" ship safely berthed at the Guang’ao Port Area in Shantou Port, marking the successful maiden voyage of the Changjin Xingya PCI2 ship along the direct routes for importing goods from South East Asia and for exporting goods to South Korea. This is also the fifth new foreign trade liner route added to the Guang’ao Port Area this year.
The sequence of port of call for the PCI2 liner route is "Incheon – Ulsan – Busan – Singapore – Jakarta – Haiphong – Shekou – Shantou – Xiamen - Incheon", providing weekly liner service. This route fills the gap in the direct route for importing goods from South East Asia to Chaoshan area, opening up a new direct route for Singapore, Indonesia, and Vietnam to export goods to the Guang’ao Port Area in Shantou Port. Compared to the previous feeder vessel transshipment mode via Hong Kong, thanks to this new direct route, the logistics costs have been significantly reduced, while also increasing the density of the liners for South Korea to export goods to the Guang’ao Port Area in Shantou Port. In addition, the cargo owners can choose the departure time more flexibly and arrange the export of goods more reasonably.

潮汕首条东南亚进口直航航线成功启航
近日，“长锦马尼拉”轮安全抵靠汕头港广澳港区，标志着长锦ㆍ兴亚PCI2东南亚进口直航暨出口韩国直航航线成功首航，这也是今年广澳港区新增的第五条外贸班轮航线。
PCI2班轮航线的挂靠港序为“仁川-蔚山-釜山-新加坡-雅加达-海防-蛇口-汕头-厦门-仁川”，提供周班服务。该航线填补了东南亚进口直航潮汕地区的空白，为新加坡、印尼、越南出口货物开辟了一条直达汕头广澳港区的新通道。相比原先经香港二程驳船中转模式，物流成本大幅降低，同时加密了广澳港区韩国出口航班密度，货主可以更灵活选择起运时间，合理安排货物出口。
