The Largest Single Offshore Wind Power Project in the Eastern Guangdong Sea Area Starts Successful Grid-connected Power Generation

On December 29, Huaneng Lemen (II) 600,000-kW offshore wind power project started grid-connected power generation, marking the completion and operation of the first batch of demonstration projects of the national 10 million-kW-level offshore wind power base in eastern Guangdong.
Huaneng Lemen (II) Offshore Wind Power Project is located in the south sea area of Shantou Nan'ao Island, with a total installed capacity of 600,000 kW. Arranged with fifty-four 11MW direct-drive offshore wind turbines, it is China’s first offshore wind farm which uses the 11MW large wind turbines. As the largest single offshore wind power project in the eastern Guangdong sea area, it is estimated that it can provide clean electricity up to 2 billion kWh every year. In addition, the Project has also built the first 5G dual-domain security private network and integrated intelligent sensing monitoring system in China, deeply integrating 5G with operation and maintenance management, for the purpose of real-time sensing, transmission and analysis of operation status of wind turbines, and improving the reliability and availability of wind turbines.

粤东海域单体最大海上风电项目并网发电成功
12月29日，华能勒门（二）60万千瓦海上风电项目并网发电，标志着国家千万千瓦级粤东海上风电基地首批示范项目建成投运。
华能勒门（二）海上风电项目位于汕头南澳岛南侧海域，总装机60万千瓦，布置54台11兆瓦直驱型海上风电机组，是全国首个全场使用11兆瓦大机组的海上风电场。作为粤东海域单体最大海上风电项目，每年可提供清洁电能预计达20亿千瓦时。此外，该项目还建设了国内首个5G双域安全专网、一体化智能感知监测系统，将5G与运维管理深入融合，实时感知、传输、分析机组运行状态，提升机组可靠性和可利用率。
