On January 21, Shantou Media Convergence Group launched its ecommerce platform Gan Lan Gou (Olive Buy) and organized the first livestreaming session to boost the "Hundred-Thousand-Myriad Project".
Gan Lan Gou or Olive Buy is an effort of Shantou Media Convergence Group to combine newspapers, broadcast stations, networks and terminal resources to create a "media + livestreaming + ecommerce" media convergence-based ecommerce mode, and build a regional state-owned ecommerce platform with vivid media features. During the first livestreaming, the platform promoted San Nian (three-ridge) olives from Jinzao Town green fruits plantations, fresh milk of Guangdong Aoshilan Dairy Ecological Technology Co., Ltd., Shantou Jinghua fish balls, and products from Ocean Kitchen Guy of Shantou Grain & Oil Packaging Trading Company. Olive Buy Mall has now a special "Hundred-Thousand-Myriad" zone and such specialty divisions as Select Chinese Goods and Teochew-Shantou Tastes. Citizens to do shopping online have only to search Gan Lan Gou on WeChat and will be able to attend the New Year goods fair and enjoy subsidies for Teochew-Shantou shopping trips.

汕头融媒集团电商平台“橄榄购”上线
1月21日，汕头融媒集团官方电商平台“橄榄购”正式上线，首场助力“百千万工程”电商直播活动同步举行。
