Shantou has Become One of the First Batch of 5G-A Commercial Cities

Recently, China Mobile pioneered the world's first commercial deployment of 5G-Advanced (5G-A) network, announcing an initial list of 100 cities with 5G-A network commercialization, with Shantou City included in the list.
China Mobile Guangdong Branch actively responds to the 5G-Advanced Double-Chain (Innovation Chain and Industrial Chain) Integration Action Plan released by China Mobile, providing new driving forces for the development of Shantou’s local industries of "Three New, Two Special and One Big" (“Three New” refers to the three industries: new energy, new materials and new generation electronic information; “Two Special” refers to the two traditional specialty industries: textile and clothing, and creative toys; and “One Big” refers to the big health industry).China Mobile Shantou Branch, in collaboration with offshore wind power enterprises, plans to build the world's first offshore wind power integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) demonstration site in the Nan’ao sea area, for the purpose of building the full object electronic fence for the offshore wind farm based on 5G-A ISAC base stations, sensing the positions of all-object-ships through 5G-A ISAC, AIS and other systems, and analyzing the ship's movement situation in real time. This is not only an innovation in communication technology, but also an important expansion of its application in the marine economy.

汕头成为首批5G-A商用城市之一
近日，中国移动全球首发5G-A商用部署，公布了首批100个商用城市名单，汕头名列其中。
广东移动积极响应中国移动发布的“5G-Advanced创新链产业链双链融合行动计划”，在汕头为本地“三新两特一大”产业注入发展动能。汕头移动联合海上风电企业，拟在南澳海域打造全球首个海上风电通感一体示范点，构建基于5G-A通感基站海上风电场全对象电子围栏，通过5G-A通感一体、AIS等系统感知全对象船舶的位置，实时分析船舶运动态势。这不仅是通信技术的创新，也是对海洋经济领域应用的重要拓展。
