The Shantou Station of Shantou-Shanwei High-speed Railway and the Station Area Project is located on the east side of the existing Shantou Railway Station. The construction mainly covers new tracks and platforms and other facilities within the Shantou Railway Station. The Project includes the construction of the station area, the renovation of Jinsha East Road and Changping East Road, and the relocation of ditches and channels in Huangcuowei.
At present, the project construction has entered the home stretch. The construction entities are working assiduously around the clock, accelerating the construction of the rail project, to ensure that the railway will be open to traffic as scheduled.

汕汕铁路汕头站及站区工程进入冲刺阶段
汕汕铁路汕头站及站区工程位于现有汕头火车站东侧，主要建设汕头火车站站区范围内的新建轨道及站台等设施，项目包括站区工程、金砂东路改路、长平东路改路和黄厝围改移沟渠等施工内容。
目前项目建设已进入冲刺阶段，施工单位昼夜不停抢抓工期，加速轨道工程施工，确保按期开通。
