On the morning of June 13, Guangdong East Coast Agricultural Mall, a key construction project in Shantou City, Guangdong Province, and a Shenzhen-Shantou deep collaboration project, was officially completed and put into operation, filling the gap in the distribution of agricultural products in Shantou City.
Guangdong East Coast Agricultural Mall is a large first-class wholesale market for agricultural products invested and built by the rural sages from Chaoyang District. It is located in the Jinpu high-tech industrial area in Chaoyang District, with a total project investment of about RMB 3 billion, covering a land area of about 400 mu [26.67 hectares]. Its business scope covers 18 major business forms, including vegetables and fruits, aquatic products, meats, grain, oil, poultry, eggs, dried non-staple foods, miscellaneous groceries, tea and tea sets, and hotel supplies. After the Project is completed and put into operation, it will take up the important responsibility for up-streaming the agricultural products of eastern Guangdong and distributing the nationwide collected agricultural products in eastern Guangdong, inject fresh impetus into the development of agriculture in Shantou City, and forming more complete, safer, more reliable and higher value-added agricultural industry chains.

粤东海岸农商城建成投运
6月13日上午，广东省、汕头市重点建设项目、深圳汕头深度协作项目——粤东海岸农商城项目正式竣工并投入运营，填补了我市在农产品流通领域的空白。
粤东海岸农商城是由潮阳乡贤投资兴建的大规模一级农产品批发市场，位于潮阳区金浦高新科技产业片区，项目总投资约30亿元，占地面积约400亩，经营范围涵盖蔬菜水果、水产肉类、粮油禽蛋、干调副食、日杂百货、茶叶茶具、酒店用品等十八大业态。项目建成投入运营后，将承担起粤东地区农产品上行和全国农产品汇集粤东大分销的重大责任，为我市农业发展注入新的动力，形成更完整、更安全可靠、附加值更高的农业产业链条。
