New Progress Has Been Made in the Construction of the Eastern Guangdong Intercity Railway Project

On September 10, the 4 × 48 meter continuous rigid-frame mid-span of piers 94-98 of the Eastern Guangdong Intercity Railway bridge crossing over the Waisha River, which was constructed by China Railway 2nd Bureau Group, was successfully joined, marking another important progress in the project construction.


The main line of Construction Zone 5 of Bid Section VIII of the East Guangdong Intercity Railway is 10.948 km long, and the connecting line is 1.433 km long. The stations are set up along the line passing through the Chenghai urban area and the Waisha River, and Longhu Station is set up after the line crosses over the Xinjin River and the Meizhou-Shantou Railway, and turns east to the east side of Middle Taishan Road. After department from the Longhu Station, in parallel with the Meizhou-Shantou Railway, the line is connected to the intercity zone of Shantou Station. It is an important part of "one ring" in the "one ring, one ray" of Eastern Guangdong. The joining of this continuous rigid-frame mid-span is the first continuous rigid-frame joined crossing over the river within Bid Section VIII, providing valuable construction experience for the successful joining of the remaining 15 continuous beams of the Project through the hanging basket cantilever casting.

  粤东城际铁路项目建设迎来新进展

  9月10日,由中铁二局承建的粤东城际铁路跨外砂河大桥94号至98号墩4×48米连续刚构中跨顺利合龙,标志着项目建设取得又一重要进展。

  粤东城际铁路8标五工区段正线全长10.948公里,联络线全长1.433公里,线路途经澄海城区、外砂设站,上跨新津河、梅汕铁路后折向东至泰山中路东侧设龙湖站,出站后并行梅汕铁路引入汕头站城际场,是粤东地区“一环一射线”中“一环”的重要组成部分。该连续刚构中跨合龙是8标标段内首联跨河合龙的连续刚构,为项目剩余的15联连续梁挂篮悬灌顺利合龙提供了宝贵的施工经验。
