Shantou Economic and Trade Delegation Conduct Economic and Trade Exchange Activities in Russia and UAE

Recently, Shantou Economic and Trade Delegation went to Moscow, Russia, and Dubai, the United Arab Emirates to carry out a series of economic and trade exchange activities, for the purpose of promoting Shantou’s investment and business environment and exploring new opportunities for international trade cooperation.
In Russia and the United Arab Emirates, Shantou Economic and Trade Delegation visited the Chinese Embassy in Russia, the Russian National Export Center, the Chinese Consulate General in Dubai, as well as local Teochew associations and Chinese chambers of commerce including the Guangdong Chamber of Commerce in Russia, the Guangdong Chamber of Commerce in the United Arab Emirates, and the Dragon Mart Chinese General Chamber of Commerce in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates. They also paid a visit to Teochew-origin compatriots and important overseas Chinese leaders. In addition, they conducted on-site visits to some institutions including the Longyue (Shenha) Procurement and Sales Center, the Russian Pillars Union, Jebel Ali Free Trade Zone, and UAE Investors Group. Furthermore, Shantou Economic and Trade Delegation successively held the China (Shantou) - Russia (Moscow) Economic and Trade Cooperation Exchange Conference and the China (Shantou) - United Arab Emirates (Dubai) Economic and Trade Cooperation Exchange Conference, facilitated some signed projects covering the industries related to "three new, two specials, one big" ("three new" means new energy, new materials and new generation of electronic information industries; "two specials" mean two traditional industries with distinctive local features, namely, textile and clothing and creative toys; and "one big" means big health industry), and facilitated cooperation in exhibition business, establishment of big data platforms and commodity trading platforms, Chinese tea, and other projects.
During their stay in Russia, Shantou Economic and Trade Delegation also participated in the opening ceremony of the 29th Moscow International Toy and Baby Products Exhibition and toured the Exhibition Hall. Shantou’s 39 enterprises participated in the Exhibition, showcasing the achievements of Shantou's industrial development and helping Shantou's toy creative industry to further develop overseas markets.

汕头经贸代表团赴俄罗斯、阿联酋开展系列经贸交流活动
近日，汕头市经贸代表团赴俄罗斯莫斯科、阿联酋迪拜开展系列经贸交流活动，推介我市投资营商环境，开拓国际贸易合作新机遇。
在俄罗斯和阿联酋，经贸代表团先后拜访中国驻俄罗斯大使馆、俄罗斯国家出口中心、中国驻迪拜总领馆等，并拜访俄罗斯粤商会、阿联酋广东商会、阿联酋迪拜龙城华商总会等当地潮人社团、华人商会，访问潮籍乡亲、重要侨领。同时，实地走访龙粤（深哈）采销中心、俄罗斯支柱联合会、杰贝阿里自由贸易区、阿联酋投资集团等机构。此外，经贸代表团还接连举办中国（汕头）-俄罗斯（莫斯科）经贸合作交流会、中国（汕头）-阿联酋（迪拜）经贸合作交流会，促成一批涵盖“三新两特一大”相关产业的签约项目，并促成展会业务、搭建大数据平台、商品交易平台、中国茶叶等项目的合作。
在俄罗斯期间，市经贸代表团还参加了第29届俄罗斯莫斯科国际玩具及婴童用品展开幕式并巡馆。我市有39家企业参展，展示汕头产业发展的硕果，助力汕头玩具创意产业进一步开拓海外市场。
