Eight Projects in Shantou Won the Guangdong Science and Technology Award

On October 17, the award-winning projects (individuals) of the 2023 Guangdong Science and Technology Award were announced, which included 8 projects led or participated in by Shantou’s institutions. Among the four leading projects, there were two second prizes for science and technology progress and two awards for promoting scientific and technological achievements.. Among the four participating projects, there was one second prize of natural science award, one first prize of science and technology progress award, one second prize of science and technology progress award and one award for promoting scientific and technologic achievements..In terms of the categories of awards and the number of projects that won the awards, Shantou has set a new record high since the reform of Guangdong Province’s science and technology award system in 2018.

汕头8项目获广东省科学技术奖
10月17日，2023年度广东省科学技术奖获奖项目（个人）揭晓，汕头市单位牵头或参与的8个项目获奖。4个牵头项目中，科技进步奖二等奖2项，科技成果推广奖2项；4个参与项目中，自然科学奖二等奖1项，科技进步奖一等奖1项，科技进步奖二等奖1项，科技成果推广奖1项。奖项类别、项目数量均创2018年省科技奖制度改革以来新高。
