On November 13, Satcha Chaiman, Director of the Tourism and Sports Bureau of the Pattani Provincial Government in Thailand, and Tessa Dankan, retired four-star Thai Army General, led officials from the Pattani Provincial Government and representatives of the new generation of entrepreneurs to Shantou for a 5-day visit, for the purpose of exploring new opportunities for economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between the two regions.
Satcha Chaiman and Tessa Dankan introduced the basic situation of Pattani Province. They hoped that through this visit, the delegation would bring back to Thailand the experience, technology and products of Shantou’s excellent enterprises, and take this visit as an opportunity to further strengthen the friendly exchanges and economic and trade ties between Shantou and Thailand, so that the two sides can complement each other's strengths and achieve win-win cooperation in a wider range of fields. And they hoped that on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of China-Thailand diplomatic relations next year, they can help Pattani and Shantou become friendly sister cities, adding new vitality and impetus to the exchanges between China and Thailand. During their stay in Shantou, the delegation would contact with Shantou’s business associations and enterprises in the fields of medical equipment for elderly healthcare, new building materials, generators, and clothing, etc., inspect related products and conduct procurement negotiations, to enhance trade and commercial cooperation in multiple fields.

泰国北大年省经贸团访问汕头
11月13日，泰国北大年省政府旅游与体育局主任素差·猜曼及泰国退役陆军四星上将特萨·旦刊率领北大年省政府官员及新生代企业家代表莅汕，展开为期5天的访问，探讨两地经贸交流合作新机遇。
素差·猜曼和特萨·旦刊介绍了北大年省基本情况，希望通过此次访问，把汕头优秀企业的经验技术或产品带回泰国，并以此为契机进一步加强汕头与泰国之间的友好往来与经贸联系，推动双方在更广泛的领域实现优势互补、合作共赢。同时期待明年中泰建交50周年之际，能够促成北大年与汕头缔结为友好兄弟城市，为中泰两国交流增添新的活力与动力。在汕期间，访问团将与汕头市老年人医疗器械、建筑新材料、发电机、服装等领域的商协会和企业对接，考察相关产品并开展采购洽谈，增进多领域的商贸合作。
