On November 19, the opening ceremony of the 22nd Teochew International Convention and the 10th World Chaoshan Entrepreneurs Convention under the theme of "Uniting Global Teochew People • Embracing Shantou" was held at the Shantou International Convention and Exhibition Center.A total of 2,800 representatives of 266 Teochew social organizations and chambers of commerce from 32 countries and regions defied the obstacles of mountains and oceans, and joined together to draw up economic blueprints, share a cultural feast, show amazing vibrancy and great passion, and pool the efforts of all sectors.Gao Yunlong, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce; Lin Keqing, Chairman of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference; and Wen Zhanbin, Secretary of the CPC Shantou Municipal Committee, attended the conference and delivered speeches. As a representative of Chaozhou-origin overseas Chinese and business people, Mr. Li Ka-shing delivered a congratulatory message via video. Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont, Senior Chairman of the Charoen Pokphand Group (CP) in Thailand and President of China Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs Association (COCEA); Dr. Chau Chak Wing, Chairman of the Kingold Group, Chair of the Asia-Pacific Region World Leadership Alliance - Club de Madrid President’s Circle, and Co-Chair of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center Global Circle; and Wang Laichun, Member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Chairwoman of Shenzhen Luxshare Precision Industry Co., Ltd., attended the conference and delivered speeches.
At the opening ceremony, the first batch of 10 major projects of Huan Keh Street were launched; and the “Initiative for Global Teochew People’s Commitment to Building China into a Great Country and Advancing China National Rejuvenation” was released.

第二十二届国际潮团联谊年会、第十届世界潮商大会在汕头隆重开幕
11月19日，以“潮聚·向汕”为主题的第二十二届国际潮团联谊年会、第十届世界潮商大会在汕头国际会展中心举行开幕大会。来自32个国家和地区266个潮属社团、商会的2800名代表跨越山海、欢聚一堂，共绘经济宏图、共享文化盛宴、共燃青春激情、共聚团结力量。全国政协副主席、全国工商联主席高云龙，广东省政协主席林克庆，汕头市委书记温湛滨出席大会并致辞；作为潮籍侨胞、潮商代表，李嘉诚先生发表祝贺视频，泰国正大集团资深董事长、中国侨商联合会会长谢国民，侨鑫集团董事长、世界领袖联盟亚太区主席、尼扎米·甘伽维国际中心全球联合主席周泽荣，全国政协委员、立讯精密股份有限公司董事长王来春出席大会并致辞。
开幕大会还启动“番客街”首批十大项目，发布《全球潮人致力强国建设民族复兴倡议书》。
