"Shantou Digital No. 1" Satellite Has Been Successfully Launched

At 18:18 on December 19, with a loud bang, the carrier rocket carrying the "Shantou Digital No. 1" satellite successfully blasted off from the offshore launch platform in Rizhao City, Shandong Province. At around 18:36, the satellite successfully entered the 900-kilometer designated orbit, and the launch mission was a complete success.
"Shantou Digital No. 1" satellite is a data communication satellite. Numbered Tianqi 33, it is part of the Tianqi constellation, which consists of 38 satellites. It was launched into the orbit alongside three other satellites (Tianqi 34, 35, and 36) in a manner of "one rocket launching four satellites", providing global users with integrated satellite data communication and satellite IoT communication access of "air, space, earth, and sea". As Shantou's first satellite named jointly by the Shantou Municipal People’s Government and Shenzhen Hangke Satellite Technology Co., Ltd., the successful launch of "Shantou Digital No. 1" satellite will facilitate Shantou to explore new paths for the development of its digital economy.

“汕头数字一号”卫星成功发射
12月19日18时18分，随着一声巨响，搭载“汕头数字一号”卫星的运载火箭在山东日照海上发射平台点火升空。18时36分左右，卫星顺利进入900千米预定轨道，发射任务获得圆满成功。
“汕头数字一号”卫星是一颗数据通信卫星，纳入由38颗卫星组成的天启星座，编号为天启33星，并与天启34、35、36星采取“一箭四星”方式发射入轨，为全球用户提供“空天地海”一体化的卫星数据通信和卫星物联通信接入。作为汕头市政府联合深圳航科卫星科技有限公司命名的汕头首颗卫星，“汕头数字一号”成功发射，将为汕头数字经济发展探出新路。
