Nanfang Hospital Collaborates with Shantou to Establish a Regional Medical Hub

On the afternoon of February 14, the opening ceremony for the joint construction of the Eastern Guangdong Medical Hub, a collaborative project between Nanfang Hospital and Shantou, was held in Shantou.
During the event, 11 collaborative projects were signed on-site. These included the cooperation framework agreement between Southern Medical University Nanfang Hospital and Shantou University Medical College, as well as the specialty alliance agreements between Nanfang Hospital and 10 hospitals in Shantou. The appointment ceremony for specially invited experts of the "Teochew Medical Think Tank" took place once more. Sixteen distinguished experts and scholars from institutions such as Nanfang Hospital and Shantou University Medical College were named special experts of the "Teochew Medical Think Tank", significantly enhancing the Think Tank's expertise and capabilities.
After the opening ceremony, an academic event titled "Enhancing Severe Case Diagnosis and Treatment Capabilities and Promoting Organ Transplantation Technology Exchange" was held. Distinguished experts and scholars from Nanfang Hospital shared the latest breakthroughs in their fields, with the goal of further improving regional diagnostic and treatment expertise.

南方医院与汕头合作共建区域医疗高地
2月14日下午，南方医院与汕头市合作共建粤东医疗高地的启动会开幕式在汕头举行。
活动中，11个合作共建项目现场签约，包括南方医科大学南方医院与汕大医学院签订的合作框架协议，以及南方医院与汕头市10家医院签订的专科联盟协议。潮医智库特邀专家聘任仪式再次举行，南方医院、汕大医学院等单位的16位知名专家学者成为潮医智库特聘专家，智库实现再“扩容”。
开幕式结束后，举办了“重症诊治能力提升暨器官移植技术推广交流”学术活动，来自南方医院的多位知名专家学者围绕各自领域分享前沿进展，推动区域诊疗水平再提升。
