On the morning of February 21, a press conference was held in Guangzhou to unveil the master plans for the construction of the Shantou and Zhanjiang port economic zones. At the conference, Guangdong Province presented its plans and strategies for constructing the Shantou and Zhanjiang port economic zones, highlighting its upcoming work priorities and supportive policy measures. The session also included a Q&A session with reporters.
The Master Plan for the Construction of Shantou Port Economic Zone has been recently issued and implemented. According to the Master Plan, the Shantou Port Economic Zone has a total planned area of 104.93 square kilometers, consisting of two major zones: the Haojiang Comprehensive Bonded Zone and the East Coast Liuhe Zone. The Master Plan includes one main line, three functional positionings, key tasks in five aspects, and a series of supporting measures. The construction of the Shantou Port Economic Zone is currently underway with active, orderly, and comprehensive progress, aiming to establish a significant platform for attracting both domestic and international relocation of industries.

汕头临港经济区建设总体方案发布
2月21日上午，汕头、湛江临港经济区建设总体方案新闻发布会在广州举行。会上介绍了广东省建设汕头、湛江临港经济区的谋划部署以及下一步工作重点和政策支持举措等，并回答记者提问。
《汕头临港经济区建设总体方案》已于近期印发实施。根据《总体方案》，汕头临港经济区总规划面积104.93平方公里，包括综保濠江及东海岸六合两大片区。《总体方案》具体内容包括一条主线、三个功能定位、五方面重点任务及系列支持措施。目前临港经济区建设正积极有序全面展开，将打造吸引国内外产业转移的重要平台。
