Shantou Free Trade Zone Establishes the Consolidation Warehouse for Export to Australia

On the afternoon of September 3, products from four toy companies in Chenghai District were containerized at Shantou Bonded Logistics Center Co., Ltd., and shipped from the Guang'ao Merchants Port to Sydney, Australia, marking the official operation of the first consolidation and transshipment center for export to Australia in the Shantou Free Trade Zone.
To facilitate the export delivery of goods from Chenghai enterprises and enhance logistics efficiency, Shantou Bonded Logistics Center Co., Ltd. partnered with Australia's EWE Group to launch the "Shantou-Australia" dedicated logistics route and establish an export consolidation and transshipment center. The project fully leverages the policy benefits of the “tax rebate upon entering the Zone” in the Shantou Free Trade Zone and takes advantage of the convenient fast entry and exit of bonded logistics. It relies on bonded warehousing for export cargo sorting and distribution, enabling settlements between Australian buyers and domestic suppliers within the bonded warehouses. The route serves four major Australian ports in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth.
The establishment of the dedicated "Shantou-Australia" logistics route and the export consolidation and transshipment center will further enhance synergies between the Shantou Free Trade Zone and Shantou's local competitive industries, and provide an efficient, convenient and low-cost logistics route for exporting Chenghai toys to Australia, thereby effectively promoting "Shantou Goods to Reflow and Go Global".

汕头综保区设立澳洲出口集运仓
9月3日下午，来自澄海区4家玩具企业的产品在汕头保税物流中心有限公司完成装柜作业，从广澳招商港口启运到澳洲悉尼，标志着汕头综保区首个对澳出口集拼转运中心正式投入运营。
为方便澄海企业货物出口交付，提升物流运转效率，汕头保税物流中心有限公司与澳洲EWE国际物流集团开展合作，开辟“汕头—澳大利亚”物流专线，建立出口集拼转运中心。项目充分利用综保区“入区退税”的政策优势，发挥保税物流快速进出的功能便利，依托保税仓储开展货物出口分拨，实现澳洲采购商与国内供应商在保税仓交收，线路覆盖澳大利亚悉尼、墨尔本、布里斯班、珀斯等四个主要港口。
“汕头—澳洲”物流线路及出口集拼转运中心的建立，将进一步加强综保区与汕头本地优势产业的联动，为澄海玩具面向澳洲出口提供高效、便捷、低成本的物流路径，大力促进“货源回流、汕货出海”。
