On January 29, a 43-member delegation from Hong Kong's Design Licensing and Business (DLAB) visited Shantou. Organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and the Hong Kong Innovative Entrepreneur Association (IEA), the visit sought to strengthen industrial cooperation between Shantou and Hong Kong and facilitate the in-depth integration of original Hong Kong IP into Shantou's creative toy industry.
This delegation brought together Hong Kong's top talents in original IP design, showcasing a wealth of high-quality works in Shantou. The display spanned animation characters, cultural and creative design, brand licensing, and other fields, highlighting the unique appeal and commercial value of Hong Kong's creative designs. The Shantou Chenghai Toy Association carefully coordinated the participation of representatives from over 30 local leading enterprises in the creative toy industry. These participants held face-to-face discussions with the Hong Kong designers, exploring cooperation models such as design licensing, brand collaboration, and product development. The event served as a highly effective matchmaking platform to drive coordinated development between the two regions' industries.

香港设计授权考察团莅汕开展玩具创意产业考察交流
1月29日，香港贸发局联合香港创意创业会组织的“香港设计授权考察团”一行43人莅汕考察对接，深化汕港两地产业合作，促进香港原创IP设计与汕头玩具创意产业深度融合。
本次考察团汇聚香港原创IP设计领域的精英力量，携带众多优质原创IP作品来汕展示，涵盖动漫形象、文创设计、品牌授权等多个领域，充分展现香港创意设计的独特魅力与商业价值。我市澄海玩具协会精心组织本地30多家玩具创意产业龙头企业代表参会，与香港设计师面对面交流，探讨设计授权、品牌合作、产品开发等合作模式，为两地产业协同发展搭建高效对接平台。
